November 2026 Astrology: The Art of Changing Your Mind

november is one of those months where several planetary cycles reach significant turning points within days of each other. mercury and venus are both wrapping up their retrogrades, mars and jupiter are meeting up with the south node in leo, and toward the end of the month, uranus and pluto form another exact trine.

and that’s not even getting into the lunations.

there’s a LOT happening.

but before we get into it, i wanna make something clear because y’all know how i feel about this…

astrology is not causation.

the planets aren’t sitting up there making decisions for us, and a particular alignment doesn’t guarantee that some life-changing event is about to happen.

what astrology offers us is a symbolic language for understanding cycles, patterns, and potential.

and when i look at november’s astrology, the word that keeps coming up for me is reconsideration.

not because we’re supposed to spend the entire month second-guessing ourselves, but because sometimes reconsidering something is exactly what allows us to move forward.

so let’s get into it.

november 4: mercury cazimi in scorpio — the things we can’t unsee

we’re starting november with mercury retrograde in scorpio, which, if you’ve been paying attention, has probably already brought up some interesting conversations.

scorpio isn’t exactly known for keeping things surface-level.

this is the sign associated with intimacy, vulnerability, power, control, shared resources, and all those complicated emotional dynamics we’d sometimes rather pretend don’t exist.

and mercury? mercury wants to understand things.

so when mercury retrogrades through scorpio, there’s an invitation to revisit the stories we’ve been telling ourselves, especially the ones we use to explain our relationships, our fears, and our behavior.

then on november 4th, mercury meets the sun at approximately 12° scorpio.

this is called a mercury cazimi.

in traditional astrology, cazimi describes a planet positioned in the heart of the sun, a condition associated with clarity and strength.

and because mercury is retrograde, this particular conjunction marks an important turning point in its cycle.

now, does that mean everyone’s suddenly gonna have some massive revelation on november 4th? lol no.

but symbolically, i love the idea of this transit representing the moment something finally clicks.

you know when you’ve been going through something for MONTHS, trying to make sense of it, and then one random tuesday you’re washing dishes and suddenly you’re like…

wait a fkn minute.

and everything makes sense?

THAT.

sometimes the information was there all along. you just weren’t ready to see what it meant.

and i think that’s an important distinction.

because awareness is powerful, but awareness doesn’t automatically change anything.

you can recognize a pattern and still participate in it.

you can understand why something hurts and still keep choosing it.

you can know exactly what needs to change and still be terrified of changing it.

which brings us to our first lunation of the month.

november 9: new moon in scorpio at 16°53′ — transformation isn’t always dramatic

okay, can we talk about how obsessed we are with the idea of transformation?

especially in spiritual spaces.

everything is a rebirth. everything is a tower moment. everything is shedding your old self and becoming some completely unrecognizable version of yourself.

and listen, sometimes life really does demand that kind of dramatic transformation.

but i think we forget that change can be incredibly quiet too.

the new moon on november 9th occurs at approximately 17° scorpio, bringing our attention back to themes of emotional honesty, vulnerability, intimacy, and the things we’re ready to release.

scorpio is traditionally ruled by mars and associated with pluto in modern astrology.

both planets speak to transformation, but in different ways.

mars is about action, desire, and the courage to confront something.

pluto is about power, control, and the deeper processes through which things are dismantled and rebuilt.

and what i find particularly interesting is that mars, scorpio’s traditional ruler, is moving toward a conjunction with jupiter and the south node in leo.

so there’s this interesting relationship between what we’re being asked to release and what we’re being encouraged to pursue.

because here’s the thing…

sometimes the very thing standing between you and the life you want is something you once desperately wanted.

maybe it’s a relationship you’ve outgrown.

maybe it’s a career path you worked your ass off to establish.

maybe it’s an identity you’ve become so attached to that you don’t know who you’d be without it.

and that’s where i think scorpio gets really interesting.

because transformation isn’t always about getting rid of something bad.

sometimes it’s about letting go of something that was once really good for you.

something that served a purpose.

something that helped you survive.

something that made sense for the person you were five years ago.

but doesn’t necessarily make sense for the person you are today.

and there’s grief in that, isn’t there?

we don’t talk enough about the grief that comes with outgrowing things we once loved.

so if you’re working with this new moon, maybe instead of asking what you want to manifest, ask yourself:

what am i still holding onto simply because i once wanted it so badly?

because sometimes making room for something new starts with admitting that something old has run its course.

november 13: mercury AND venus station direct — okay, so what do we do with everything we’ve learned?

now THIS is where things get interesting.

on november 13th, mercury stations direct at approximately 5° scorpio.

and later that SAME day, venus stations direct at approximately 23° libra.

both planets. same day.

which i find fascinating because while these retrogrades have been happening simultaneously, they’ve been asking us to reconsider two very different but deeply connected things.

mercury has been asking us to reconsider what we think we know.

venus has been asking us to reconsider what we value.

and girl…

those are two VERY different conversations.

venus began her retrograde on october 3rd in scorpio before eventually moving backward into libra.

and i think that journey is worth paying attention to.

because libra and scorpio approach relationships very differently.

libra wants harmony, reciprocity, fairness, and partnership.

scorpio wants intimacy, honesty, vulnerability, and emotional depth.

libra asks whether a relationship is balanced.

scorpio asks whether it’s real.

and ideally, we want both, right?

but how often do we sacrifice one for the other?

how often do we keep the peace at the expense of our own needs?

how often do we confuse loyalty with obligation?

how often do we stay committed to something because leaving would mean admitting that we’ve changed?

and this isn’t just about romantic relationships either.

venus also governs our values, desires, finances, pleasure, and relationship with self-worth.

so maybe this retrograde has had you reconsidering how you spend your money.

or how much energy you’re giving to things that don’t actually fulfill you.

or what success means to you.

or whether the life you’re working so hard to build is even one you genuinely want.

whew.

and now both mercury and venus are stationing direct.

but i wanna be clear about something.

direct doesn’t mean resolved.

both planets still have post-retrograde shadow periods to complete.

so november 13th isn’t necessarily the day everything magically falls into place.

it’s more like reaching that point in a conversation where you’ve finally said everything you needed to say.

and now you have to decide what you’re gonna do with it.

because knowing something and choosing to live in alignment with that knowledge are two very different things.

and i think november is asking us to start closing that gap.

november 12–16: mars, jupiter, and the south node in leo — what are we still trying to prove?

okay, this is probably one of my favorite configurations of the entire month.

and not necessarily because it’s easy.

but because the symbolism is SO interesting.

on november 12th, jupiter meets the south node around 25° leo.

on november 14th, mars meets the south node.

and on november 16th, mars and jupiter form an exact conjunction at approximately 26° leo.

so we’ve got mars, jupiter, and the south node all occupying the same little neighborhood of the zodiac.

and each one brings something different to the conversation.

mars represents action, ambition, desire, courage, and conflict.

jupiter represents expansion, growth, opportunity, belief, and abundance.

leo represents creativity, visibility, leadership, pride, and authentic self-expression.

so mars and jupiter together in leo?

BIG energy.

the kind of energy that makes you wanna take a chance, start something, put yourself out there, and believe that maybe you’re capable of more than you’ve been allowing yourself to imagine.

and i love that.

but then we’ve got the south node sitting right there.

and that’s where things get complicated.

in traditional astrology, the south node is associated with decrease and release. in modern evolutionary astrology, it’s often interpreted through familiar patterns, attachments, and the things we’re learning to move beyond.

so while mars and jupiter are encouraging expansion, the south node introduces this question of what we might need to release in order to grow.

and that feels particularly relevant in leo.

because leo is associated with recognition, pride, and the desire to be seen.

and listen, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with wanting to be seen.

there’s nothing wrong with wanting success.

there’s nothing wrong with being proud of what you’ve accomplished.

but at what point does wanting to be recognized become needing to be validated?

at what point does ambition become an attempt to prove your worth?

and at what point do we become so attached to an idea of success that we forget to ask whether it actually makes us happy?

because sometimes growth isn’t about achieving more.

sometimes it’s about no longer needing the things you thought would finally make you feel enough.

and with the north node sitting opposite in aquarius, there’s an even bigger conversation happening around individuality and community.

leo represents personal sovereignty and creative expression.

aquarius represents collective participation, shared ideals, and the systems that connect us.

and i think that axis is especially interesting when we look at what’s happening collectively.

because we’re living in a time when so much attention is focused on powerful individuals.

leaders. celebrities. billionaires. influencers. people whose personalities have become almost inseparable from the institutions they represent.

and this leo-aquarius axis invites us to question our relationship with that kind of power.

who gets to lead?

who gets to be heard?

and what happens when we stop waiting for one person to save us and start recognizing what we’re capable of collectively?

i don’t think the planets are predicting some inevitable political revolution.

but i do think the symbolism gives us something meaningful to reflect on.

there’s a difference between wanting power and wanting to create something powerful.

and maybe that’s part of the conversation we’re being invited into.

one more thing worth mentioning: mars is entering territory it will revisit during its retrograde in early 2027.

so whatever ambitions, conflicts, or projects begin taking shape around this time may become part of a longer story.

don’t feel like you need to have everything figured out immediately.

sometimes the first step is simply recognizing what you’re ready to pursue.

november 18–19: sun square jupiter and mars — confidence is cute, but so is discernment

and just when we’re feeling all inspired and ready to conquer the world, the sun in scorpio squares jupiter on november 18th and mars on november 19th.

lol of course.

squares in astrology represent tension. they’re not inherently bad, but they do tend to demand some kind of engagement.

and with the sun in scorpio squaring mars and jupiter in leo, we have an interesting clash between intensity and expansion.

scorpio wants depth, strategy, and control.

leo wants expression, confidence, and action.

and sometimes those motivations don’t exactly cooperate.

this can symbolize the temptation to overextend ourselves, act from pride, or confuse intensity with importance.

you know when you’re SO convinced something is the right move that you stop questioning whether you’re actually thinking clearly?

yeah. that.

and with mars and jupiter involved, the enthusiasm can be real.

but enthusiasm doesn’t automatically equal wisdom.

sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is resist the urge to act simply because you finally have the energy to.

you don’t have to turn every realization into an immediate decision.

you can be excited about something and still take your time.

not every opportunity deserves your yes just because you’re finally ready to say it.

november 22: sagittarius season begins — can we remember that life is supposed to be experienced?

okay, THANK GOD for a little sagittarius energy. lol

after weeks of scorpio season asking us to confront our emotional baggage, investigate our motivations, and stare directly into the psychological abyss, the sun enters sagittarius on november 22nd.

and the energy shifts.

sagittarius is ruled by jupiter and associated with exploration, philosophy, belief, freedom, and the search for meaning.

where scorpio wants to understand what’s beneath the surface, sagittarius wants to understand the bigger picture.

and i think we need that.

because sometimes we get so caught up in analyzing our lives that we forget to actually LIVE them.

we become so focused on healing that everything starts feeling like something we need to fix.

every relationship becomes a lesson.

every disappointment becomes a shadow-work assignment.

every uncomfortable emotion becomes another thing to unpack.

and listen, i’m all for self-awareness.

but sometimes you just need to go outside, laugh with your friends, learn something new, eat something delicious, and remember that being alive is supposed to include some fucking joy too.

not everything needs to become a spiritual breakthrough.

sometimes the experience itself is enough.

and i think that’s a beautiful reminder as we move into the final stretch of the year.

november 24: full moon in gemini at 2°20′ — information is not the same thing as truth

now let’s talk about this full moon because astrologically, she’s got some interesting company.

on november 24th, the moon reaches fullness at approximately 2° gemini, opposing the sun in sagittarius.

but this isn’t just your typical gemini full moon.

the moon is closely conjunct uranus in gemini, trine pluto in aquarius, and sextile neptune in aries.

and the sun is simultaneously forming supportive aspects to neptune and pluto while moving toward an opposition with uranus.

in other words, this lunation is activating the larger outer-planet configuration that’s been developing throughout 2026.

and on a collective level, i find that FASCINATING.

gemini is ruled by mercury and associated with communication, information, education, language, and the exchange of ideas.

uranus is associated with disruption, innovation, liberation, and sudden changes.

pluto represents power, transformation, and the restructuring of systems.

and neptune represents imagination, ideals, collective dreams, and sometimes illusion.

so when we put all of that together, there’s a really interesting conversation happening around information, power, and the stories we collectively believe.

and honestly, could there be a more relevant conversation right now?

we’re living in a world where information is available to us constantly.

we can learn almost anything in seconds.

we can communicate with people across the world instantly.

we have access to more perspectives, opinions, and information than most generations before us could’ve imagined.

and yet…

are we actually becoming more informed?

or are we just becoming more convinced that what we already believe is true?

because those are not the same thing.

and this is where the gemini-sagittarius axis becomes particularly interesting.

gemini gathers information.

sagittarius gives that information meaning.

gemini asks questions.

sagittarius develops beliefs.

and when those energies are balanced, curiosity and wisdom can work together beautifully.

but when they’re not?

we can become so attached to our beliefs that we stop being curious.

we stop listening.

we stop questioning.

we start treating disagreement as a threat rather than an opportunity to understand something differently.

and i think that’s worth sitting with.

especially when we consider how much of our collective reality is shaped by media, technology, algorithms, and the people who control access to information.

the uranus conjunction adds another layer of unpredictability and disruption.

astrologically, uranus in gemini is associated with innovation in communication, technology, transportation, and the circulation of ideas.

but innovation isn’t automatically liberation.

technology can connect people.

it can also isolate them.

information can empower communities.

it can also be manipulated.

and just because something challenges the status quo doesn’t automatically mean it’s creating something better.

questioning authority is important. but so is questioning the information we use to challenge it.

that’s the kind of discernment i think this full moon invites.

and on a personal level?

maybe it’s worth asking yourself whether the beliefs you’re carrying are still genuinely yours.

or whether you’ve simply repeated them for so long that they’ve started feeling like facts.

november 25: mars enters virgo — okay girl, but what’s the plan?

after spending most of november in bold, expressive leo, mars enters virgo on november 25th.

and honestly, the timing is kind of perfect.

because mars in leo has been giving us all this confidence, ambition, and creative momentum.

we’ve been dreaming big.

we’ve been feeling inspired.

we’ve been imagining what’s possible.

and then mars enters virgo and is basically like…

okay, cute. but how are we actually doing this? 😂

virgo is associated with discernment, refinement, service, analysis, and practical problem-solving.

so mars moving into virgo shifts our attention from the excitement of possibility toward the actual work required to make something happen.

and i love that distinction.

because inspiration is important.

but inspiration without action is just a really nice idea.

and action without intention can become a whole lot of effort directed toward something that doesn’t actually matter.

mars in virgo reminds us that the details count.

the routines count.

the small decisions we make consistently count.

and since mars will eventually retrograde through virgo and leo in 2027, this is another part of a longer process.

we’re not necessarily supposed to have the final version of the plan figured out right now.

we’re allowed to experiment.

we’re allowed to revise.

we’re allowed to discover that something works better differently than we originally imagined.

and maybe that’s another lesson november is offering us.

you can be committed to your vision without being attached to exactly how it unfolds.

november 29: uranus trine pluto — the future isn’t something we wait for

and finally, we arrive at one of the most significant outer-planet aspects of the month.

on november 29th, uranus retrograde at approximately 3° gemini forms an exact trine to pluto at 3° aquarius.

this is the second exact uranus-pluto trine of 2026, following their alignment in july.

and unlike some of the faster-moving transits we’ve discussed, this is part of a much larger cycle unfolding over several years.

which is important because i think we sometimes get so caught up in individual astrological dates that we forget the bigger story.

uranus and pluto are both associated with transformation, but they approach it differently.

uranus disrupts.

pluto restructures.

uranus challenges convention.

pluto exposes the power dynamics beneath it.

uranus asks what freedom might look like.

pluto asks what needs to change for that freedom to become possible.

and because both planets are in air signs, there’s a strong symbolic emphasis on information, communication, technology, networks, and collective organization.

gemini is concerned with how information moves.

aquarius is concerned with how groups and systems function.

and together, these placements invite some really interesting questions about the future we’re creating.

who controls the technology we increasingly depend on?

who benefits from innovation?

how do we build systems that serve communities rather than simply concentrating power?

and what does meaningful progress actually look like?

because here’s something i think we need to talk about more…

progress and liberation are not necessarily the same thing.

just because something is new doesn’t mean it’s better.

just because something is innovative doesn’t mean it’s equitable.

and just because a system is changing doesn’t mean the people within it are becoming freer.

and this brings me back to something i’ve been thinking about throughout 2026.

we’ve spent so much time talking about these once-in-a-generation planetary configurations.

the saturn-neptune conjunction.

the outer-planet sextiles.

the grand trines.

the grand sextile configurations.

and i get it. as an astrology nerd, i find this shit fascinating.

but i think sometimes we get so excited about the potential of these alignments that we forget what potential actually means.

an opportunity means absolutely nothing if nobody does anything with it.

a trine doesn’t guarantee progress.

a sextile doesn’t guarantee liberation.

and uranus and pluto aren’t magically dismantling systems of oppression because they’ve decided to get along in the sky.

people have to do that work.

communities have to organize.

individuals have to participate.

and the structures we want to change have to be challenged through actual human action.

which is why i find this transit so compelling.

not because i think it’s promising us some inevitable revolution.

but because it invites us to consider our relationship with change.

are we waiting for the future to happen?

or are we actively participating in creating it?

so what does all of this mean for november?

if i had to summarize the energy of november 2026, i’d say we’re moving through three overlapping themes.

revelation. reclamation. revolution.

revelation through mercury retrograde, the scorpio new moon, and the things we’re beginning to understand about ourselves.

reclamation through venus stationing direct and the mars-jupiter conjunction, asking us to reconsider our values, desires, ambitions, and relationship with personal power.

and revolution through the gemini full moon and uranus-pluto trine, inviting us to question the systems, beliefs, and structures shaping our collective experience.

but what i find most interesting is how connected those themes really are.

because how can we create meaningful change in our lives if we’re unwilling to question the beliefs guiding our decisions?

how can we build healthier relationships if we’re unwilling to examine our own patterns?

and how can we participate in creating a different world if we’re unwilling to reconsider the ways we’ve been taught to understand the one we’re living in?

i don’t think november is necessarily asking us to become completely different people.

i think it’s asking us to become a little more honest about who we already are.

what we actually want.

what we genuinely believe.

what we’re still carrying.

and what we’re finally ready to do differently.

and maybe that’s the part of transformation we don’t talk about enough.

sometimes changing your life doesn’t begin with some dramatic moment of courage.

sometimes it begins with a quiet realization.

that the dream you’ve been chasing doesn’t excite you anymore.

that the version of yourself you’ve been trying to maintain no longer feels authentic.

that something you once believed with your entire heart just doesn’t make sense to you now.

and that maybe, just maybe, you’re allowed to change your mind.

because you are.

you’re allowed to want something different.

you’re allowed to outgrow a dream.

you’re allowed to reconsider what success looks like.

you’re allowed to acknowledge that something served you beautifully for a season without needing to carry it into every season that follows.

and you don’t need some dramatic cosmic event to give you permission.

you’ve had that permission all along.

so as we move into november, i hope we can approach the month with a little more curiosity and a little less attachment to having everything figured out.

because if there’s one thing 2026 has reminded me, it’s that growth rarely looks the way we imagined it would.

and sometimes the most beautiful part of becoming isn’t discovering who you’re supposed to be.

it’s realizing you were never required to stay who you’ve always been.

anywayyyy, happy november, my loves.

here’s to changing our minds, questioning our assumptions, and remembering that we’re allowed to participate in creating the lives we actually want to live.
