My Journey / Why Yoga for Me
I discovered yoga’s power in 2016 through hot power yoga. Though I’d tried yoga before, this time it found me in a different place: after health challenges, after deep inner cracks.
At the time, I was facing a lupus diagnosis and heart failure. At my lowest, I couldn’t even touch my toes. But returning to the mat became my lifeline. Through consistent practice, deep embodiment, and spiritual connection—yoga helped heal my body, restore my heart’s function, and bring me back home to myself.
This isn’t just movement. It’s medicine. It’s activism. It’s a path back to your center.
How We Can Practice Together
I hold space for you—wherever you are on your journey. Here’s how we can flow together:
Seasonal New/Full Moon Yoga Classes — align with lunar energy, reset, intention setting
Private 1:1 or Small Group Sessions — personalized attention, tailored flows
Weekly In-Person Classes in Boston — vinyasa for strength, flexibility, and ease (variations provided for all levels)
Workshops & Events — deeper dives into embodiment, ritual, and community
Whether you’re new to yoga or coming back after a break, I welcome you. My classes center accessibility, healing, and depth, especially for folks in marginalized communities who deserve a seat at this table.
